The authorities in Brazil’s Sao Paulo State have prepared six new road tenders. The purpose of the work is to be underway by 2026, with all six projects costing a total of US$6.2 billion.
The tender for one of the projects, for the Litoral Paulista route, is anticipated to open in 2023.
Other scheduled projects contain a tunnel connecting Santos with Guaruja and sections of the ViaOeste route and work for the Renovias road.
Tendering for the ViaOeste sections is anticipated to be in 2024, with tendering for the Santos to Guaraja tunnel in 2025 and the Renovias link in 2025-2026.
