The contract for the extension of Milan’s M1 metro line has been granted to Eteria Consortium, Ghella and CMB.
The Eteria Consortium comprises Vianini Lavori SpA, Itinera SpA, and I.CO.P SpA Società Benefit.
Excavation of the 3.3km underground route is due to be up to TBM.
Constructing three new stations at Parri-Valsesia, Olmi and Baggio, this extension will take the line from the current Bisceglie Station to Valsesia, Olmi, and Baggio.
With almost €360m contract value, October 2025 is scheduled date for commencing work and is expected to take around six years to complete.
