Thalwil Relief Tunnel, Switzerland, Canton of Zurich (ch/137)

The contract with EUR 89.46 million (CHF95.37 million), for the Thalwil relief tunnel (diameter 6.60 m, length 2014.15 m) to transfer flood peaks of the Sihl river into Lake Zurich and thus protecting the lower Sihl valley and Zurich from extreme floods (Lot 1), has been awarded by the Arge Marti Entlastungsstollen Thalwil c/o Marti Tunnel AG from Moosseedorf.
