Fehmarn Project_ STRABAG secures crossing role

In order to advancing several construction sections of the Fehmarn Sound Crossing, including cut-and-cover tunnels, DB InfraGO AG has commissioned STRABAG.

Linking the island of Fehmarn with the German mainland, this packages are part of the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link.

The responsibility of the design and building phases is up to project partners DB InfraGO AG and DEGES as part of the alliance project.

While delivery of the Package 2,that is covering earthworks, civil engineering and superstructure works, is up to STRABAG and ZÜBLIN together with Johann Bunte and Eiffage Infra-Bau, ZÜBLIN, together with Porr and Implenia, has been granted the ground engineering works for Package 6. Also contract Package 7  package which includes construction of the cut-and-cover tunnel sections and several trough structures, is due to be delivered by ZÜBLIN with the support of other STRABAG units..
