Update on Waterloo Station

Waterloo Station Construction

The new Waterloo Station, construction of the platforms, 25 meters below the ground, is about to be completed. Also, the individual levels are taking shape.

In addition, the roof of the underground station, which will shape the street level, has begun.

Whenever finished, over 97,500 tons of concrete and 10,500 tons of steel would have been used to shape the structures within the station.

State Significant Development confirmation has been received for the over station development – John Holland and Mirvac are going to now begin building the Waterloo Metro Quarter, a mixed-use space with commercial office space, retail, residential, social and affordable housing, and student accommodation.
