Revealing the BART Silicon Valley Phase II Extension Program

The Pre-SOQ session between Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) and private sector Participants who have downloaded the RFQ documents from the secure Procure Now Portal for the BART Silicon Valley Phase II Extension Program (BSVII) (RFQ S20241 BSVII Contract Package 4 – Stations(CP4), was framed by the following protocols and instructions. So the participants were demanded to review the RFQ documents prior to attending this meeting.

The intended meeting, which was held via Microsoft Teams and was started at 1:00 pm Pacific Time on Monday, July 12, 2021, was scheduled for a duration of sixty (60) minutes, finished at around 2:00 pm.

  1. COVID-19 Considerations

Convincing VTA COVID-19 standards, which can be found at here , was one of the main attention of this meeting.

  1. Purpose of Pre-SOQ Meeting

VTA intended for the Pre-SOQ Meeting to present information to interested Participants concerning the Project and the RFQ/SOQ process.

  1. Length of Pre-SOQ Meeting

Determined time period for Pre-SOQ Meeting was 60minutes.

  1. Fair, Uniform Process

VTA was conducted the Pre-SOQ Meeting in a fair, consistent and transparent manner and was endeavor to provide uniform information to all private sector Participants.

  1. Questions and Responses

Participants were strongly encouraged to submit questions for the Pre-SOQ Meeting through VTA’s Procure Now Vendor Portal prior to the meeting. Some of the questions that has been e-mailed to The Single Point of Contact may have not been responded. Questions did not accept during the meeting.

Any question was not answered during the meeting and the similar questions were combined to address the questions more efficiently.

Priority were belonging to questions regarding the RFQ content and the RFQ/SOQ process.

Questions not answered during the Pre-SOQ Meeting and any other questions that Participants submit prior to the deadline for RFIs may be responded to in forthcoming addenda, to be posted to the Procure Now vendor portal.

Any information bringed up during the Pre-SOQ Meeting was subject to applicable public record laws.
