WTC2025 abstract submission deadline extended

June 13, is the determined date as final chance of abstract submission for WTC2025.

Considering that a successful first call passed for abstracts, it was extending the deadline and encouraged the industry to take this opportunity to share innovative ideas, research findings, and case studies with international experts and peers, as the organising committee said.

The topics for next year’s congress are:

• Innovative tunnelling
• Safety underground
• Use of underground space
• Investigations and ground characterisation
• Planning and design of underground space
• Conventional tunnelling
• Mechanised tunnelling
• Complex geometries including shafts and ramps
• Grouting and groundwater control
• Instrumentation and monitoring
• Operation, inspection and maintenance
• Contractual aspects, financing and risk management
• Impact of climate change

While September 30 is the full paper submission deadline, full paper revision deadline is January 5.
