
Following that TBM Berthe de Puybusque excavated over than 1km of the future La Vache-Le Grand Marché station and arrived at Fondeyre Station on 29 September, it made its first breakthrough on the Toulouse Metro.
In order to digging a further 1.4km of tunnel towards the Ponts Jumeaux Station, this TBM is soon due to resume its journey.
With the aim of undertaking a 2.1km section towards the future Raisin Station, the TBM will be dismantled and transported back to the future La Vache-Le Grand Marché station once it arrives at Ponts Jumeaux Station.
Through road convoy the TBM shield will be transferred from Ponts Jumeaux to its departure station, and the five trailers are going to be transported through the tunnel.
Operating three TBMs Lise Enjalbert, Jeanne Marvig and Berthe de Puybusque, which are on the construction of Line C, is up to a consortium of Eiffage Génie Civil, NGE and BTP, whereas all have been refurbished after finishing work on Line 16 of the Grand Paris Express project.
With 27km length, line C is a rout that 80% of it is underground and includes 21 stations.
