By Construction of a 7.3 Km metro tunnel in Brazil
The contract worth EUR350 million (BRL1.47 bn) awarded to the Brazilian construction company Ferrera Guedes and Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructure consortium. They set to begin with the first phase of the Fortaleza Metro’s east line.
Four stations Central Chico da Silva, Colegio Militar, Nunes Valente, and Papicú below ground, one above (Tirol-Moura Brasil), and a 7.3 Km long tunnel of which would be carved out by tunnel boring machine.
