YHT Tunnel Works to be Completed by the End of the Year in Osmaneli

Münür Şahin, Osmaneli Mayor, shared information about the ongoing Osmaneli-Yenişehir-Bursa-Bandırma-Balıkesir High-Speed Train (YHT) line works in Osmaneli district.

He claimed that a considerable part of the 3-meter tunnel that passes beneath the district has been completed, and the final 580-meter section will be finished by the end of the year.

Together with Dağcan AŞ General Manager Murat Polat, President Şahin examined the proceeding work at the last point of the tunnel. Şahin remarked that the remaining part of the tunnel is between the Old Water Tank and Çobandere Mosque. He underlined that with the completion of the YHT line in 2025, Osmaneli district will achieve a significant value with the YHT station.

In addition, he expressed that with the completion of the High-Speed Train line, Osmaneli’s transportation network will considerably improve, and the region will earn incredible momentum in terms of economy and tourism.
