The deadline of the open tender for constructing 4 underground stations at Light House, Kutchery Road, Alwarpet, and Bharathidasan Road has been postponed from 18/06/2021 to 02/08/2021. It includes an underground stabling yard and a cross-over at Light House Station and a related 5.15km twin tunnel from km0+001 to km5+150 for the Chennai metro (Down line). The duration of the contract is two years.
