In order to hold NAT 2022, the North American Tunneling Conference in Philadelphia from June 19-22, the North American tunneling industry is gearing up for its biennial conference.
Almost 140 exhibitors, a conference program comprising 20 technical sessions, as well as short courses, will be the contents of current year’s event, while it is expected to attract 1,000 attendees.
The headings of technical sessions are constructed around four cases which include histories, design, planning, and technology, whereas the topics involve TBM performances and challenges; tunnel lining; underground project delivery; construction innovation; design of underground spaces; rehabilitation/fire life safety; TBM technology; SEM/NATM excavation techniques; challenging design issues; underground project risk; future projects; numerical modeling and digital technology.
Additionally, this year’s one-day short courses comprise Big Data in Tunneling, and Support of Excavation Design and Performance.
