Applicants can now access more than 1,000 one-to-one meetings with HS2 contractors.
The third edition of ‘Meet the Contractor’ organized by HS2 Ltd. will be held as an online event between 23rd-26th November for the first time.
Companies and suppliers have a chance to get familiar with HS2 upcoming projects and develop possible future collaborations.
In September, the Prime Minister confirmed Phase One of Britain’s new high-speed railway stretching from the West Midlands and London 140 miles in length. The railway will comprise over 50 viaducts, 110 embankments, 150 bridges, and 32 miles of tunnels.
HS2 will create more than 30,000 new occupations in the industry as well as thousands in the supply chain section. Within the next two years, partners and contractors will provide services and products, covering civil engineering, water drainage systems, and site catering in addition to conventional construction work.
With the aggregate number of over 400,000 openings in the HS2 supply chain, thousands in service/good delivery will be required.
