Concentrating on the Silvertown Road Tunnel, December’s British Tunnelling Society meeting is due to be held on Thursday 14th December 2023 at 18:00 hrs.
The topic of this lecture will be on Tunnelling works at TfL’s twin-bore Silvertown Road Tunnel with 1.1km length, which has been constructed using a single 11.91 m diameter EPB TBM. The two bores are linked though 7No. SCL cross-passages, of which 4 require ground freezing.
