In order to providing direct access to the platforms of line 15 South of Grand Paris Express, following having excavated and constructed the underground volumes of the Créteil l’Échat Station access room, the workers are building the first concrete walls of the hall.
Currently, the building process of the access room is finalized, while the companions build the walls of the passenger building along the tracks of metro line 8.
Presenting the chance of direct descend to the platforms of line 15 South, will be one of the advantages of this access room.
Excavating 2.6 km from the Arrighi shaft, which has located in Vitry-sur-Seine, the Marina tunnel boring machine arrived at the site at the end of December 2021.
The disassembling process of Marina tunnel boring machine into piece by piece and extracting it from the station box was done early this year.
Organizing the works into three areas on the site of the future station, which are the station box, the access room and the passenger building, these several spaces are going to form, when line 15 South comes into service, that is a single unit in correspondence with line 8 of the metro.
