Piling hammer firm is the new purchase of Excavator attachment specialist

The piling hammer supplier RTS Piling, has been purchased by Billingshurst-based BPH Attachments, which is a hydraulic excavator attachment specialist.

While the family-run BPH Attachments is now managing depots in the South East and Midlands already, they are able to develop their offering to clients in the South West with the acquisition of Radstock-based RTS.

First investors of the RTS was Roger Nowell and two partners in 2001.Operating this company by Nowell with cooperation of his wife, Sue Nowell, pursued until his passing in 2016. Sue Nowell is now retiring and has taken the decision to sell the company.

Transferring of the company will be done with no change in staff, while the range of services presenting for customers is due to be expanded by BPH and this will give clients a wider choice of attachments for sale and hire, including hydraulic hammers, selector grabs and pulverizes.

Servicing and maintenance facilities, also will be added to BPH’s depot.

BPH Attachments sales director Matthew Bastable said: “The RTS team has some of the best knowledge and experience of piling hammers in the industry, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to the BPH Attachments family.”

He also continued: “We’d like to assure customers they will still be dealing with the same people, but they will see a change in branding and an extended product offering.”

“We’re excited about the future of the business and are looking forward to bringing some of the leading attachments in the industry, such as La Bounty shears, Oil Quick couplers and the ever popular PRODEM range, to the South West,” stated Matthew Bastable.
