By Dansk Forening for Tunnel- og Undergrundsarbejder, DFTU, postponed the WTC 2021 in Denmark to 2022 on account of the Covid19’s situation.
As the virtual WTC2020 Congress was held last week, they decided that the event to be held in Cancun, Mexico, is for now canceled.
In January 2021, the ITA General Assembly will again go over the current changes in order to make new arrangements for hosting future WTC events. WTC 2023, for which Greece and Turkey have applied as host countries, faces the same challenges and is as well postponed.
For this purpose, they will also review experiences gained at WTC in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia.
