Launching registration for BTS Tunnel Design and Construction Course

From July 6-10,  the University of Warwick, Coventry, UK will host the British Tunnelling Society’s annual Tunnel Design and Construction Course.

As providing the highest standard of technical content, this five-day course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of tunneling and is presented by industry experts.

In order to providing interaction between delegates and speakers, the course aims to cover all the major aspects of an underground project’s life and is due to include worked examples and workshop sessions.  It is aimed at the wide range of professional services that support the tunneling industry, including clients, tunnel operators and members of the financial and insurance sectors that may have a vested interest in tunneling enterprises, as well as young tunnel design and construction engineers.

The  project development; soft ground tunneling; tunneling technology and materials; sprayed concrete linings; as well as hard ground tunneling and risk are the contents of the provisional program.

Until midnight on April 24,  the sponsored spaces for students and apprentices will be available. To download an application form click here.
