Hanoi Metro Line 3 is under excavation

While tunnel construction has commenced on Pilot Light Metro Line 3 in Hanoi, in order to building twin tunnels for the transport networ,  two 6.6m-diameter Herrenknecht EPBMs, named Thần Tốc (Flash) and Táo Bạo (Reckless), are being operated by Ghella.

As the first underground line in the Vietnamese capital, the Nhon-Hanoi Railway section the Hanoi Pilot Light Metro Line Project stretches  from Nhon in the Tay Tuu quarter, the western district of Nam Tu Liem to Hanoi Station and is 12.5km long. Including 8.5km of elevated track and 4km underground, this line also covers the construction of four stations: Kim Ma Station, Cat Linh Station, Van Mieuh Station and Hanoi Station.
