By Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic reached an agreement with China Road and Bridge Corporation CRBC for the design and construction of the Fruska Gora Corridor.
The multi-lane highway 47.7m long will run between Novi Sad and Ruma. 3.5km will be built in the form of a tunnel in addition to a 1.8km long bridge over the Danube River.
During this business meeting in Belgrade, Serbia, Serbian President Vucic paid particular attention to the “Serbia 2020-2025” development program and emphasized the significant role of CRBC in the course of projects which are either under construction or would be implemented soon.
“What we are doing with CRBC…and what makes this day important is that we can today discuss an overall accelerated development and modernization of Serbia,” he said.
This cooperation between China and Serbia will continue amid the pandemic, compromising both parties’ economic setbacks.
