The contract for the Hong Kong East Drainage Tunnel is under tender by Hong Kong’s Drainage Services Department (DSD).
Construction of a drainage tunnel about 3.6km long and almost 5m in diameter from Shau Kei Wan and Chai Wan to Pak Sha Wan; construction of seven intakes and an outfall; and ancillary works are the main works main of this contract.
The scheduled date for starting the work is August 2026 and is due to take about 46 months to complete.
With the aim of designing and supervising the works, the DSD has commissioned Binnies Hong Kong Ltd.
Interested contractors can download the tender forms from the e-Tendering System (e-TS). Tenderers must submit their tenders in electronic format via the e-TS by noon on April 17.
