Digging Process of Škofije Tunnel from the North Commenced

On 6 December 2021, after 1 pm, the excavating process of Škofije tunnel from the Divača or north side (T8-Di) was commenced. The total length of Diocese Tunnel (T8) including both main and service pipe, will be 3,808 meters. Considering that the scheduled date for starting construction of a tunnel from Koper or the south side was September 2021, hence the main tunnel pipe of the Škofije tunnel is the first tunnel pipe to be built on both sides at the same time.
