The final list of proposers to construct the high speed rail project’s network control center and rolling stock maintenance depot, was confirmed by HS2 Ltd. The intended contract, which’s value is around EUR320.84 million (GBP275 million), includes transforming the 30-hectare brown field site into the nerve center of the HS2 network and the selected bidder is going to work with HS2 Ltd.

A Rolling Stock Maintenance Building, Carriage Wash, Automatic Vehicle Inspection Building and 14 sidings where trains can be stored overnight, are the subsets of this depot.
The cleaners and drivers also will be able to access to the Network Integrated Control Centre, the center of the network’s state-of-the-art signaling and control systems as well as office buildings on the same site.
