Kvitsoy Tunnel in Rogfast Project, Norway, Rogaland (no/78)

The contract with the value of EUR59.08 (NOK622) million, for building the 3,480 m Kvitsoy tunnel on E15, part of the E39 Rogfast project, has been awarded by the Haehre Entreprenor AS (55%) and Risa AS (45%).

The tunnel will run at a slope of 7% down to the main section of the Rogfast tunnel. The contract includes the construction of 1.6 km of the road during the day and three bridges on the small island out in the ocean gap in Boknafjorden between Stavanger and Haugesund.
