Virgolo Railway Tunnel, Italy, Trentino-South Tyrol (it/277)

Calling enthusiasts to participate in a tender that has been announced for the executive design and the construction of the new Virgolo railway tunnel – three tracks from km149+100 to km149+635 on the Verona-Brennero line, of the new sections(BD) of the Verona – Brennero line (km148+735 – km149+771), of the extension of the Meranese track (km 0+651 – km 1+763).

The determined time duration for this project is 1655 days and the awarded contract budget is EUR78.55 million, excluding VAT.
