Grand Paris Express – New Breakthrough for TBM Houda

TBM Breakthrough on Grand Paris Express

TBM Houda broke through at the Becquerel manufact in Sevran, Lot 2, Line 16, as part of the Grand Paris Express route On the 29/05/2023. NGE – BTP – Webuild has been determined as the contractor consortium. The 5.8 km section dug by Houda is the largest on Line 16.

The current destination of TBM is due to be the future Sevran Livry station which is about 850m long, before making its final breakthrough at the Mare au Chanvre structure at the end of the year, where the TBM 8, named Mireille, is currently being dismantled after breaking through last month.
