With attending in the test drive on the Yıldız-Fulya-Mecidiyeköy metro line that is due to link the Beşiktaş to Şişli underground, Ekrem İmamoğlugave announced that the 31 December is date of entrance of Yıldız-Fulya-Mecidiyeköy metro to the service of Istanbulites, while Dudullu-Bostancı metro line will be commissioned on 1 January.

During his visit, İmamoğlu received information about the studies from IMM Deputy Secretary Generals Pelin Alpkökin, Mahir Polat and Gürkan Alpay. Before the test drive to start from Yıldız Station, İmamoğlu informed the public about the work with a live broadcast from his social media accounts.
“We are in a special place on Saturday. We are in one of the deepest stations in Istanbul. We are in the borders of Beşiktaş. Together with our Beşiktaş Mayor and Şişli Mayor, we will do the trial tour for the first time. We will take our metro from Yıldız, which is about 75 meters deep into the ground. We will pass through the Fulya stop and from there we will go to Mecidiyeköy. It’s a very important line. As you know, we opened the Mahmutbey-Mecidiyeköy line. But the excavation after Mecidiyeköy, especially in Beşiktaş Square, has been going on for about 6,5 years. Now we are speeding up the process there, but since there will be a delay, we made a more practical move there. By bypassing it, KabataşWe continue to work towards.
