Transport for London (TfL) with the support of Arup, made Dr Sauer & Partners responsible to undertake a Bakerloo Line Extension feasibility study.
Transport for London is securing design services and construction knowledge to undertake feasibility studies for five packages of tunnelling works on the proposed Bakerloo Line Extension at four specific locations on the extension: Lambeth North, Elephant & Castle, Lewisham station and Lewisham Way shaft, also for one additional package looking at the route-wide construction of cross-passages between the two running tunnels.
Dr Sauer & Partners is seeking to be involved in the early stages of another significant project of Transport for London, following recent involvement at the Bank Station Capacity Upgrade project amongst other LU station upgrade projects.
