The date of holding October’s British Tunnelling Society is Thursday 19th October 2023 at 18:00 hrs and meeting is due to focus on the Highway 4012 & 409 Rail Tunnel project in Toronto.
Including a 188 m long and 11 m high rail tunnel, the Highway 401 & 409 Rail Tunnel project locates in Toronto, Canada and passes beneath 21 lanes of traffic, with a low overburden.
Presenting an overview of the project, the design approaches and the construction, this presentation will be delivered jointly by Dr. Sauer & Partners and STRABAG AG.
