The concentration subject of British Tunnelling Society in the September lecture is due to be HS2’s green tunnels.
Describing the installation works for three green tunnel projects across HS2 Area Central C2 and C3, will be up to three speakers from French engineering company Matière – Olivier Vignon, project manager, Matière UK Ltd; Fathi Mezghani, concrete head of design, Matière France; and Neil Wood, project manager, Matière France.
The caption of this presentation, which is going to cover the design philosophy of the precast concrete elements and in particular the installation methodology, site constraints and difficulties, is Erection aspects relating to HS2 green tunnels.
The Institute of Civil Engineers, 1 Great George St, London SW1P 3AA will host this lecture on September 14 at 18:00 (BST).
