{"id":9242,"date":"2022-11-28T12:28:59","date_gmt":"2022-11-28T12:28:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=9242"},"modified":"2022-11-28T12:28:59","modified_gmt":"2022-11-28T12:28:59","slug":"practical-paper-proposals-required-for-the-2022-bga-medal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=9242","title":{"rendered":"Practical Paper Proposals Required for the 2022 BGA Medal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishgeotech.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The British Geotechnical Association (BGA in short)<\/a> is calling for entries to its BGA Medal, which is given yearly to a paper written for \u201cmeritorious contributions to geotechnical science or practice\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The BGA Medal was awarded to the best-published paper authored or co-authored by a BGA member, or members, in the previous calendar year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The paper can be from an international journal or conferences by the BGA, International Society for Soil Mechanics &#038; Geotechnical Engineering, and International Society for Rock Mechanics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now, BGA is requesting proposals, including the paper and application form, that were issued in the 2022 calendar year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One submission from a set of BGA authors or co-authors is permitted only.
