The implemented works during the previous week were: concreting energy-intensive barriers on the island of Wolin, formwork, and reinforcement of the external ceiling of the starting chamber on the island of Usedom.<\/p>\n

Additionally, on Wolin Island, in the TBM receiving chamber, work on internal structures is continued, and diaphragm walls are sealed, while in segments from R1 to R16 of the ramp and tunnel made with the ceiling method, concreting of energy-consuming barriers is in advance. Road works are also continued on this side of the investment – a retaining wall is being built next to the northern bypass.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the formwork and reinforcement of the outer ceiling of the starting chamber are undergoing on Uznam Island, as well as the reinforcement of the walls among the intermediate and outer ceilings. Finishing and installation works are underway in the BCO building.<\/p>\n

Constructed with the TBM machine, inside the tunnel both at the EE1 and EE2 exit, the final casing and passive freezing are performed. In section T2, a slab is concreted for the road between both entrances, and a temporary ramp is built at exit EE1.<\/p>\n
