{"id":7413,"date":"2022-06-06T09:28:33","date_gmt":"2022-06-06T09:28:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=7413"},"modified":"2022-06-06T09:28:33","modified_gmt":"2022-06-06T09:28:33","slug":"grand-paris-express-update-in-champigny-sur-marne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=7413","title":{"rendered":"Grand Paris Express, Update in Champigny Sur Marne"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The intended works comprise of: preparatory work to fitting out and fitting out and the various stages of work at varying rates on the 14 construction sites in the municipality. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the first time the construction site of the Grand Paris Express Champigny Center station has been discovered by almost forty residents on 17 May 2022.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin: auto;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Fig-1-Grand-Paris-Express-Champigny-Plateau-Shaft-Rails.jpg\" alt=\"Fig 1 - Grand Paris Express - Champigny Plateau Shaft Rails\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Placed in Villiers-sur-Marne, the workers have completed laying the rails of the Champigny Plateau shaft at the Sentier des Marins structure, while over than 8 km of rails have already been installed in the line 15 South tunnel, over 88 km to be laid.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin: auto;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Fig-2-Grand-Paris-Express-Aicha-Factory-Train-Cutterhead-Removal.jpeg\" alt=\"Fig 2 - Aicha Factory Train Cutterhead Removal\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In early 2022, on the Salengro structure the dismantling and removal process of the last parts of the A\u00efcha factory train, including the 130-tonne cutting wheel was commenced.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin: auto;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Fig-3-Grand-Paris-Express-Thorez-Structure-Diaphragm-Walls.jpg\" alt=\"Fig 3 - Grand Paris Express - Thorez Structure Diaphragm Walls\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Completing the construction of the diaphragm walls, the excavating of the underground enclosure and the construction of the landings of the Thorez structure, were achieved after three and a half years of effort.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin: auto;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Fig-4-Grand-Paris-Express-Walls-Development-and-Equipment.jpg\" alt=\"Fig 4 - Walls Development and Equipment\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to develop and equip the wells, on the sites of the Colonel Grancey, Pr\u00e9 de l&#8217;\u00c9tang and Thorez structures, new companies have launched.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the heart of the Grand Paris Express, the town of Champigny-sur-Marne is one of the keystones of the new Ile-de-France transport network with lines 15 East and 15 South, the Champigny Center and Bry \u2013 Villiers \u2013 Champigny stations.
