While it is thought the section affected was an approach tunnel, the rescue was hampered by falling rocks and bad weather.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Responsibility for managing this investigation will be on Professor JT Sahu of <a href=\"https:\/\/home.iitd.ac.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IIT Delhi<\/a> and the determined time period for submitting the committee&#8217;s report to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is 10 days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tunnels are proposed under three packages along the Ramban Banihal section of the highway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In order to survey the fatal tunnel collapse on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in India Kashmir the previous week, an expert committee has been launched.
