The future week is the expected date for delivery of the second and final shipment of equipment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to prepare for their launch this summer, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.herrenknecht.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Herrenknecht<\/a> TBMs will be assembled at a staging area. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The daily performance of two 6m diameter machines is expected to be almost 18m, while taking a year to complete the project\u2019s 5.7km tunnels and the location of tunnels will be around 15m underground, down to a maximum of 20m at Broadway-City Hall Station.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The TBMs are going to be started up separately from the Great Northern Way-Emily Carr Station and will advance to Cypress Street near the line\u2019s terminus at Arbutus Station, whereas they are due to link all six new stations along the new line.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project\u2019s design and construction contract is up to Vancouver Broadway Subway Project Corporation, an <a href=\"http:\/\/agjv.no\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Acciona-Ghella joint venture<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The inauguration time of this 5.7-kilometre extension to the Millennium Line is 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first load of the parts for the TBMs, which are for the Vancouver Broadway subway project tunnels has reached their destination in British Columbia.
