{"id":6939,"date":"2022-04-16T05:09:06","date_gmt":"2022-04-16T05:09:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=6939"},"modified":"2022-04-16T05:09:06","modified_gmt":"2022-04-16T05:09:06","slug":"readiness-of-north-american-industry-for-nat-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=6939","title":{"rendered":"Readiness of North American Industry for NAT 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to hold NAT 2022, the North American Tunneling Conference in Philadelphia from June 19-22, the North American tunneling industry is gearing up for its biennial conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Almost 140 exhibitors, a conference program comprising 20 technical sessions, as well as short courses, will be the contents of current year&#8217;s event, while it is expected to attract 1,000 attendees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The headings of technical sessions are constructed around four cases which include histories, design, planning, and technology, whereas the topics involve TBM performances and challenges; tunnel lining; underground project delivery; construction innovation; design of underground spaces; rehabilitation\/fire life safety; TBM technology; SEM\/NATM excavation techniques; challenging design issues; underground project risk; future projects; numerical modeling and digital technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additionally, this year\u2019s one-day short courses comprise Big Data in Tunneling, and Support of Excavation Design and Performance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Advanced registration rates apply until May 5, after which on-site registration fees apply.
