“Meet the Contractor”, the biggest event of High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd is due to be held after 2 weeks, hence the final announcement for UK businesses to register their attendance, is done.<\/p>\n
The program of current year\u2019s event is separated into two weeks of interactive webinars, which comprises of first week that’s determined date is from 15 to 17 November and will concentrate on contract opportunities linked to the construction of HS2\u2019s stations, while the second week relates to Main Works Civils opportunities and is going to be held from 29 November till 01 December. <\/p>\n
Sharing further details about procurement pipelines involving over 250 packages of work with the contract budget between EUR 4,735.73 (GBP4,000) and EUR187.05 million (GBP158million) by HS2\u2019s seven joint venture contractors and 16 subcontractors will be the other part of this event.<\/p>\n
According to the primary registration, there\u2019s an immense enthusiasm for the event from UK-based businesses of all sizes, because currently around 5,000 virtual seats have been booked for the HS2 stations event and approximately 7,000 for the Main Works Civils event. As well as, 1-2-1 meet with HS2\u2019s construction partners and subcontractors has been welcomed by registration of more than 3,500 applications.<\/p>\n
