{"id":4332,"date":"2021-08-22T05:52:48","date_gmt":"2021-08-22T05:52:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=4332"},"modified":"2021-08-22T05:52:48","modified_gmt":"2021-08-22T05:52:48","slug":"tunneling-awards-entry-has-been-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=4332","title":{"rendered":"Tunneling Awards Entry has been Extended"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Extra time is being given to high-flying tunnellers to get their entries in for this year\u2019s Tunneling Awards.<\/p>\n<p>Now, entries for all the categories will be open until 24 August, with two groups of categories remaining open until 10 September.<\/p>\n<p>The awards are going to bring the curtain down on the fourth annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/\">NCE Tunneling Festival<\/a> which brings together the whole tunneling community for an immersive and interactive day filled with future project updates, case studies, debate, and the Tunneling Awards.<\/p>\n<p>The categories which will be open to entries until 10 September are as follow:<\/p>\n<p><b>Industry Initiatives<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/content\/award-project-legacy\">Award for Project Legacy<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/content\/carbon-sustainability-initiative-year\">Carbon &#038; Sustainability Initiative of the Year<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/content\/health-safety-wellbeing-initiative\">Health, Safety &#038; Wellbeing Initiative<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Innovations<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/content\/innovation-instrumentation-monitoring\">Innovation in Instrumentation &#038; Monitoring<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/content\/innovation-shaft-design-construction\">Innovation in Shaft Design &#038; Construction<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/content\/innovation-tunnel-construction\">Innovation in Tunnel Construction<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/content\/innovation-tunnel-design\">Innovation in Tunnel Design<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tunnelling.newcivilengineer.com\/content\/innovation-tunnel-fit-out-maintenance-refurbishment\">Innovation in Tunnel Fit-Out, Maintenance &#038; Refurbishment<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This year\u2019s Festival is going to be held on the 8 December in London with the conference taking place in the daytime and the award winners will be announced at a gala ceremony that evening.
