The remaining two TBMs are expected to breakthrough in the coming months. \u00a0Leighton Asia has concluded this Contract T-09 which includes 7 shafts and a tunnel with 8 km length.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2017, construction process of Phase 2 has been started and this tunnel is going to act as a channel for transferring the used water from the downtown and western parts of Singapore to the new Tuas Water Reclamation Plant.
