The link is considered to develop and improve transport between the western side of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldhighways.com\/wh10\/news\/australian-project-design-work-awarded\">New South Wales <\/a>State and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldhighways.com\/news\/new-tunnel-planned-sydney-australia\">Sydney<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nevertheless, the most recent proposal for the project is for the construction of two tunnel stretches in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldhighways.com\/wh10\/news\/key-australian-link-opening\">NSW <\/a>crossing through the Blue Mountains, instead of a single tunnel section.
