The highway upgrade project features totally the building of 39 bridges, plus tunnel excavation, with the US$508.6 million work being done by the contractors STRABAG, Concay and Sacyr.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Simultaneously, the $492.2 million 254km Autopista al Mar 2 project needs the creation of 62 bridges and 12 tunnel stretches. The concession company, Autopistas Uraba that was awarded the contract is managing this work.
