{"id":3085,"date":"2021-03-15T04:22:07","date_gmt":"2021-03-15T04:22:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=3085"},"modified":"2021-03-15T04:22:07","modified_gmt":"2021-03-15T04:22:07","slug":"swedish-wastewater-tunnel-is-going-to-be-reconstructed-by-peab","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=3085","title":{"rendered":"Swedish wastewater tunnel is going to be reconstructed by Peab"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reconstructing a wastewater treatment plant and tunnel in Henriksdal, Stockholm, Sweden has been commissioned to Peab.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The \u00a321.4M (SEK254M) contract includes a new plant in Sickla along with reconstructing current basins in Henriksdal and a new wastewater tunnel from Bromma to the Sickla plant in Hammarbybacken.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Peab is going to reconstruct the plant in preparation for installation of the improved and new biological treatment process with four post-sedimentation basins and four aeration basins.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This work is going to be completed underground while the existing plant is in operation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u201cIt feels incredibly inspiring as a community builder to be part of making Stockholm\u2019s future wastewater treatment more efficient.
