The D35 is a major transport corridor connecting Bohemia and Moravia. Once completed, the project is expected to improve regional connectivity and help reduce congestion on existing roads.<\/p>\n
The consortium was selected from three bids submitted. Czech Transport Minister Ivan Bedn\u00e1rik said the decision considered factors beyond price, including the bidders\u2019 experience delivering comparable PPP projects.<\/p>\n
Ferrovial CEO Ignacio Madridejos said the project demonstrates the role of public-private partnerships in delivering transport infrastructure and supporting long-term development.<\/p>\n
