The Implenia \/ Demathieu Bard Construction joint venture has completed tunnelling on Lot 3 of Toulouse Metro Line C.<\/p>\n
TBM Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se de Villeneuve-Arifat broke through at the Saint-Sauveur shaft last week after excavating a 4km section and installing 2,198 rings beneath the city. The 10m-diameter variable density machine was launched in October 2024 from Raisin station.<\/p>\n
Lot 3 also includes civil engineering works for the construction of four underground stations at depths of 24-39m, a ventilation shaft, and diaphragm walls up to 57m deep.<\/p>\n
Tiss\u00e9o\u2019s Line C will stretch from Colomiers station in the north-west to Lab\u00e8ge station in the south-east with 21 stations along the route. Around 22km of the 27km route will be underground.<\/p>\n
On September 19, Tiss\u00e9o will open five of the project\u2019s construction sites to the public. Visitors will be able to explore the underground spaces at five stations \u2013 Blagnac; Bonnefoy; Limayrac \u2013 Cit\u00e9 de l\u2019Espace; Montaudran Gare \u2013 Piste des G\u00e9ants; and Lab\u00e8ge Madron \u2013 and walk through a section of completed tunnel.<\/p>\n
