Also installation of drainage infrastructure, cable ducts, two technical buildings and landscaping on the surface, as well as preparations for the northern section of the track area, including foundations for track switches and light masts, has been completed by MossIA, comprising Acciona and Implenia.<\/p>\n
While the responsibility of designing and building 9km of the 10km project is up to this joint venture, the drill and blast construction has included scaling, shotcrete application, waterproofing, and cast in situ concrete.<\/p>\n
Including construction of two main tunnels, which are the 2.7km-long Moss Tunnel in the north and the 2.3km-long Carlberg Tunnel in the south, this new double-track railway runs through the municipality of Moss. Additionally, two escape tunnels are being constructed.<\/p>\n
With the aim of increasing capacity and reducing travel time on the \u00d8stfold line, this tunnel has been built that is part of the Sandbukta\u2013Moss\u2013S\u00e5stad railway.
