{"id":19919,"date":"2025-11-22T07:52:28","date_gmt":"2025-11-22T07:52:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=19919"},"modified":"2025-11-22T07:52:28","modified_gmt":"2025-11-22T07:52:28","slug":"launching-tender-for-dublins-metrolink-delivery-partner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=19919","title":{"rendered":"Launching tender for Dublin\u2019s MetroLink delivery partner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The process of inviting prospective bidders to tender for the Programme Delivery Partner (PDP) Support Services Contract for Dublin\u2019s MetroLink has been commenced by Transport Infrastructure Ireland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following market engagement events throughout Europe, the government\u2019s \u20ac2bn allocation of \u20ac2bn from the Infrastructure, Climate and Nature fund, as well as the project\u2019s inclusion in the National Development Plan 2025, procuring the PDP will be done.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the aim of providing expert guidance and insight into key areas in the project\u2019s delivery, the PDP will play a vital role in the wider MetroLink organisation, led by TII and in collaboration with existing partners and contractors, which is crucial in ensuring that all aspects of the MetroLink project are delivered within a defined budget, required timeframe, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For more information about this process that is due to be managed through eTenders, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etenders.gov.ie\/epps\/cft\/prepareViewCfTWS.do?resourceId=6941968\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MetroLink program director Dr Se\u00e1n Sweeney welcomed the key development and said: &#8220;We are committed to working collaboratively with the industry to ensure that we harness the best expertise, innovation, and value from the market.
