{"id":19677,"date":"2025-10-05T08:01:40","date_gmt":"2025-10-05T08:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=19677"},"modified":"2025-10-05T08:02:51","modified_gmt":"2025-10-05T08:02:51","slug":"revealing-sao-paulo-line-19-celeste-preferred-bidder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=19677","title":{"rendered":"Revealing S\u00e3o Paulo Line 19-Celeste preferred bidder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Including Ghella, Odebrecht and \u00c1lya, the Via Celeste consortium has been named as the preferred bidder for the two lots on the city\u2019s new Line 19-Celeste by S\u00e3o Paulo\u2019s metro authority, Companhia do Metropolitano de S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The consortium is the preferred bidder for Lots 2 and 3, valued at almost \u20ac1bn and \u20ac1.1bn respectively and each includes the design and construction of 5.8km of tunnel and five stations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stretching from the northern part of the city from Jardim Julieta to Vila Maria, Lot 2 will include a maintenance depot for the trains, whereas Lot 3 is going to pass through the heart of S\u00e3o Paulo, covering key areas such as S\u00e3o Bento and Anhangaba\u00fa, which is due to require to be upgraded to integrate with existing metro lines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additionally, installation of auxiliary systems such as escalators, elevators, ventilation, lighting, as well as safety infrastructure essential for the operation of the new stations, are the contents of this project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The number of companies that participated in the tender was fifteen and they sumitted five proposals for each of the three lots.
