Farhan Al-Fartousi: &#8220;Submerging the fourth segment completed approximately 693m of the tunnel\u2019s total length, including the Um Qasr approach, marking significant progress in the project\u2019s execution timeline.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The number of segments of the completed tunnel will be 10 segments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of a strategic plan to develop Iraq\u2019s transport infrastructure and enhance its capacity for international trade movements, the Basra Tunnel is one of five major engineering projects at Al Faw Grand Port.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The positioning of the fourth concrete segment for the Middle East\u2019s immersed tunnel is under way in Iraq.
