Currently, all three Italian TBMs have completed their drives to the Italian border and work on the H71 Isarco Underpass section has also been finished, while in the Austrian side H52 Hochstegen and H21 Sill Gorge construction sites have been completed.<\/p>\n
Including 96km of main tunnels, 57km of exploratory tunnel, as well as 47km of other tunnels, such as safety, logistics, and cross-passages, the 200km of tunnels excavated so far.<\/p>\n
Also traditional excavation continues toward the Brenner Pass.<\/p>\n
Being located 10-12m beneath the two main tunnels, just over 200m remain to reach the Brenner Pass on the Austrian side, concentration is now on the exploratory tunnel.<\/p>\n
