McGirr, who is a director at COWI UK, has been on the ITA\u2019s Executive Council since 2022, and was a member of the ITA\u2019s Governance Council from 2019-2022. He was elected to the BTS Committee in 2006, was vice-chair from 2010-2012, and chair from 2012-2014<\/p>\n
McGirr is one of three new vice-presidents. The others are Klaus Rieker of Germany, who was elected first vice-president, and Sanja Zlatanic from the US.<\/p>\n
Five new Executive Council members were also elected. They are Elena Chiriotti of France; Nobuharu Isago of Japan; Zhigou Zhang of China; Hamdi Aydin of Turkey; and Johan Mignon of Belgium.<\/p>\n
